Repeating Defects at Constant Intervals on ALL Prints and Copies

Repeating Defects appearing at constant and consistent intervals across the page can indicate a worn out consumable or a hardware defect. These can be caused by a Drum or Second Bias Transfer Roller approaching end of life, or dirt or debris on the printhead lenses.

• Identify the Printer Output Defect by Printing the Repeating Defects Page

• Configure the Paper Tray Settings to Match the Xerox Supported Media Loaded in the Tray

• Clean Printhead/Print Head Lenses

• Pull Out and Reseat the Drum Cartridge(s)

• Load Paper Tray with A Fresh Ream of Paper

• Perform a Software Reset or a Power Off and Power On as Required

• Replace the Appropriate Drum Cartridge(s)

• Replace the Second Bias Transfer Roller (2nd BTR) and Reset the Supply Counter
