Set up Line Printer Daemon (LPD) at the Nuvera

NOTE: LPD must be set up at the digital copier / printer as a requirement for printing via LPR from a workstation.
  1. From the DocuSP Display Screen, logon as a System Administrator. See the Related Content for additional information.

  2. Click [Setup] from the toolbar, then click [Gateways...]

  3. Click the [LPD] tab.

  4. If it is not already enabled by factory default, click on the [Enabled] radio button for the Line Printer Daemon (LPD) field.

  5. Click on the [Enabled] radio button for the LPD Default Queue field.

  6. The LPD Port field should be set to its default value of 515. (LPD 'listens' on port 515 for incoming TCP connections from clients.)

  7. Click [Apply] or [OK] to save your settings.

  8. To logoff, click [Logon] from the toolbar, then click [Logoff].
