Retrieve a Scan Job From the FreeFlow Print Server on a Xerox 700i/700 Digital Color Press

This solution assumes that a scan folder and template have already been created and are functioning properly.  If these have not been created, see the Related Content for additional information.

  1. Open a web browser window and enter the IP address of the FreeFlow Server in the Address field. The FreeFlow web interface will be displayed.

  2. Click on the [Scan Services] button.

  3. Enter the Administrator user name sa and password of administ in the fields provided, and then click [OK].

  4. Open the Scan Folders & Templates window. 

  5. Click on the check box for the folder you need to access. 

  6. Select [Open Folder] from the Folders menu. Scan jobs will be displayed.

  7. Click on the check box for the required scan job, and then select [Save As] from the Document menu.

  8. A prompt will be displayed to open, save, or cancel the scan job file.  Click on [Save].

  9. Select a location on the computer where you want to save the file from the Save In menu. 

  10. Enter a file name in the File Name field.

  11. Click on [Save] to complete the file transfer.
