Set up Scan Templates on the Xerox 700i/700 Digital Color Press With a FreeFlow Print Server (FFPS)

This solution will provide step-by-step instructions on how to set up scan templates on a FreeFlow Print Server. This solution is applicable to both FreeFlow Print Server version 6 or 7.
The steps can be performed on any client workstation on the network that has access to the FreeFlow web interface.
NOTE: Follow the steps below to create a scan folder and template. If necessary, see the Related Content for additional information on how to retrieve scan jobs.
Create the Scan Folder and Template
Open a web browser window and enter the IP address of the FreeFlow Server in the Address field. The FreeFlow web interface will be displayed.
Click on the [Scan Services] button.
Enter the Administrator user name
sa
and password ofadminist
in the fields provided, and then click [OK].Create the template and folder:
Click on the [Folders] under the Scan Folders & Templates heading.
Select [New Template & Folder] from the menu.
On the Basic Scanning tab, enter the template name in the Template & Folder Name field. The rest of the tabs are for specific settings for the required scan results.
When all settings are satisfactory, click [OK] to complete the creation of the folder and template.
The New folder and template will be added to the list.
Go to the printer and access the Network Scanning option:
Press the [Services] button on the Control Panel.
Select [All Services] on the Touch Screen.
Select [Network Scanning].
Select the template.
Make any necessary changes to the current scan job.
Press the [Start] button on the Control Panel to scan the document. A successful scan will provide a long single beep.
