General Information on Xerox Precise Color Management System (PCMS)

For graphic artists and color professionals, color matching is a critical task. Xerox Precise Color Management System and calibration software adds another level of color control and helps maintain color accuracy.

Key Features

• Keep colors perfect. Environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity, affect a printer’s ability to produce consistently accurate color. PCMS calibration software quickly returns your printer to its factory-new settings.

• Emulate other devices. Use Precise Color Management System to create custom color sets that emulate larger press equipment, allowing in-house creation of pre-press proofs. With PCMS, you can quickly set/reset saved color profiles to keep your workflows efficient.

• Measure colors precisely. Powered by industry-leader X-Rite, the Xerox Precise Color Meter device calibrates your monitor and the VersaLink C9000 to match colors from swatch books or color tables, ensuring accurately matched screen-to-print colors.
