CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) uses the embedded HTTP server on the machine to allow communication between the machine and an Internet web browser with access to the Internet or Intranet. By entering the IP address of the machine as the URL in the browser's Address field, direct access to the machine and configurable settings are available.
NOTE: This solution assumes Microsoft Internet Explorer is being used as the web browser. Other web browsers may vary. If necessary, contact your System Administrator to perform this solution as it requires knowledge of the network.
Before accessing CWIS, make sure of the following:
The machine is fully functional on the network.
The machine contains a valid IP address.
The HTTP protocol has been enabled on the machine.
NOTE: If necessary, print a Network Configuration Page to make sure the printer has a valid IP address and that the HTTP protocol is enabled. See the Related Content for additional information.
