Enable and Configure LDAP on a DocuColor 242|252|260 Using a Built-In EFI Fiery Controller

NOTE: System Administrator rights are required to perform this solution. LDAP services must be supported on the network.
Pre-requisites:
A user name and password for the LDAP server need to be available.
The IP address or host name of the LDAP server is required.
There must be a Search Base for the LDAP environment.
To set up LDAP using Command Workstation (CWS):
Log in to CWS as the system Administrator. See the Related Content for additional information.
Click on [Server] on the menu bar, and then select [Setup]. The Fiery configure window will be displayed.
Click on [Network] in the directory tree.
Click on [Services].
Click on [LDAP]. The Configure LDAP button will be displayed on the right side.
Click on [Configure LDAP]. The LDAP Configuration window will be displayed.
Click on the [Enable LDAP] check box.
Enter the IP address or host name of the LDAP server in the field provided.
NOTE: The default port (389) can by modified, if necessary.Click on the [Authentication Required] check box.
Select [Automatic] from the [Type] drop-down menu.
Enter the user name, password, and domain in the fields provided.
In the Advanced Options section, enter the Search Base information in the field provided.
Click on [Validate]. A "Validation Successful" message will be displayed.
Click on [OK].
Click on [Apply].
Click on [Reboot] for the changes to take effect.
