Set Up Job Tracking to Track Prints

If XSA is not set up then it must be set up first. Refer to Enable or Disable Xerox Standard Accounting (XSA).

1. To Track printing login to the Embedded Web Server (EWS). Access the Embedded Web Server.

2. Click Properties.

3. Click on Login/Permissions/Accounting.
   

4. Click Accounting Method.

5. Click EDIT next to Validation Policies / Print Job Exceptions.

6. Choose Validate Accounting Code (User ID), from the dropdown menu to select Yes with Exceptions.
   

7. Check Guest Mode:

8. • Always print jobs from any computer under Exceptions for Jobs Not Containing an Accounting Code check.
     
     

9. The users will be authenticated when they log into the printer with their accounting code so there is no worry about authentication issues.
   

10. Log into Dropbox, from the UI, and choose the document to print.
