Streaks/Lines (LE/TE) – White or colored streaks appear on the image randomly or in same position. Usually medium-width streaks of (or shifts in) color most noticeable in low density (40-60%) halftone areas of the print. Streaks are generally shorter than lines and are nonuniform width along their length. Streaks may have a more ragged or fuzzy appearance than lines. | ||

4 | Move the Drum Cartridge from a color showing the defect to a color that does not show the defect. The defect moves with the Drum Cartridge? | (No) Go to step 5. The problem is not the Drum. (Yes) Replace the Drum Cartridge with defects. |
5 | Is the problem Edge streaks? | (No) Go to step 6. (Yes) Run the Clean Fuser Assembly routine. Is the defect resolved? (Yes) Call complete. (No) Go to step 6. |
6 | Adjust the FWA Automatic Density Uniformity Is the defect resolved? | (Yes) Call complete. (No) Call for service |
