2 | Clean the ROS Windows Run test prints. Is the defect gone? | (No) Go to step 3 (Yes) Call complete. |
3 | Move the Drum Cartridge from a color showing the defect to a color that does not show the defect. The defect moves with the Drum Cartridge? | (No) Go to step 4. The problem is not the Drum. (Yes) Replace the Drum Cartridge with defects. |
4 | The defect is on large prints (11x17, A3) but not on smaller prints 8.5 x11 (A4)? | (No) Go to step 5. (Yes) The defect is on large prints. Refer to the SLM Advanced Stock Setup Options. Perform 16. Fuser Speed Adjustment. Is the IQ defect resolved? (Yes) Call complete. (No) If customer is TKORU, replace the Fuser Belt Module. If the defect is not resolved, go to step 5. |
5 | Follow the DFE documentation to calibrate the Print Server with the print engine. If the defect is not resolved, call for service. | |
