Upgrade Firmware to the Latest General Release or Higher

The steps to upgrade the machine software to the latest General Release or Newer firmware vary depending on the version of software currently installed on the device.

The System Software Version can be identified from the following places:

From the Machine Information tab of the Device User Interface:

  1. Select the Machine Status button.
    NOTE: Access to the Machine Status may require an System Administrator login. See the Related Content for additional information.

  2. Select the Machine Information tab.

  3. The current installed software will be listed under System Software Version.

From the Configuration Report:

  1. Print a Configuration Report Page from the Device User Interface. See the Related Content for additional information.

  2. Locate the Common User Data section.

  3. The current installed software will be listed next to System Software Version.

If at System Software Version 071.xxx.xxx.xxx or 072.xxx.xxx.xxx use Solution Software Version 071.xxx.xxx.xxxxx or 072.xxx.xxx.xxxxx: Upgrade the Machine Software Using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) in the Related Content Tab.

If at System Software Version 073.xxx.xxx.xxx use Solution Software Version 073.xxx.xxx.xxxxx: Upgrade the Machine Software Using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) in the Related Content Tab.
