Navigation
This web site is designed in such a way as to make it easy for you to find the exact information you need, without having to click through extraneous topics. Depending on your preference of getting to information, there are several ways to navigate this system.
The horizontal navigation bar gives you access to the main content sections. From there, you can drill down into the task-oriented topics using the links at the left.
TIP: To learn more about the content sections in the horizontal navigation bar, move your cursor over a title/link for a moment. Additional information about the content appears in a popup. This behavior applies to the top-level links in the left-side navigation bar as well. |
To quickly find a topic
To search for a topic, you have several options:
Site map
The Site Map provides a list of all the topics in the system, by title and organized by category. Click any of the underlined entries to go directly to the topic.
Index
If you are unsure of the exact title of the topic you want, but have an idea of the subject, you can scan through the list of alphabetized keywords in the index. Each one is linked to a particular topic.
Full-text search
The search engine is not unlike the standard search pages on the World Wide Web. The Search function in this system behaves in the same way: type in a term, and the results are listed in order of relevance. To optimize the effectiveness of your search, follow the instructions on the search page. The search engine has been programmed to ignore common words, so as not to return too many results at once. If the term you try does not yield results, try a synonym.
