No Power. The Control Panel is Unresponsive

If your printer will not power on, check the following items:
- Make sure the printer is plugged in and that both power switches are in the On position.
- Make sure the printer is plugged directly into the wall outlet using the power cord that came with the printer.
Important: Do not plug the printer into an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), power bar or extension cord. Power issues may occur causing the printer to not function properly. Make sure the power cord is plugged directly into a wall outlet that is within specifications. - Make sure to use a power source within the specifications for the printer.
- Try a different power outlet to make sure the current outlet is not malfunctioning.
If the above does not resolve the issue, perform the following steps to perform the Full Power Off / On prodecure:
The printer has two power switches: the main power switch located behind the Front Cover, and the power switch on the Lower Center Tray.
WARNING: Make sure to press the power switch on the Lower Center Tray to the Off position before turning off the main power.
- Press the Power Switch on the Lower Center Tray to the Off position.
- Wait 15 seconds.
NOTE: When the optional Office Finisher LX is attached, the power switch is located behind a clear plastic door in the Finisher Transport Cover / Center Tray. - Open the Front Cover.
- Press the main Power Switch to the Off position.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Push on the reset button on the back of the machine, near the power cable, to reset the GFI breaker.
- Plug the power cable back into the wall outlet.
CAUTION: Switch the main power on first using the main power switch to avoid damaging the printer's internal hard drive or causing a printer malfunction. - Press the main Power Switch (behind the Front Cover) to the On position.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Press the Power Switch on the Lower Center Tray to the On position.
