Step 1: Ensure the Ethernet Cable is Securely Plugged Into the Printer and in Good Condition

  1. Locate the device Input/Output panel at the rear right side of the machine.

  2. Locate the network cable connected to the Input/Output panel. The cable looks like a large phone cord.

  3. Unplug the Ethernet / network cable from the machine.

  4. Examine the cable and network port for any damage or debris. If the cord is damaged, replace the cable.

  5. Reconnect the cable to the device, inserting it securely into the port until it clips in place.

  6. Trace the cable to the switch, router or wall connection at the remote end.

  7. Disconnect the cable from the remote end.

  8. Examine the cable and network port for any damage or debris. If the cord is damaged, replace the cable.

  9. Reconnect the cable to the remote end.
