Print or Download the Configuration Report

The Configuration Report lists all current settings of the printer. A configuration report prints at startup by default. To disable the Configuration Report from printing at device startup, click on Disable the Configuration Report From Printing at Device Startup.
There are different methods to print or download the configuration report. Follow the instructions for the preferred method.
Print the Configuration Report
The configuration report may be printed from the Control Panel or using the Embedded Web Server (EWS). Select your preferred method to print the report.
Control Panel
To print the Configuration Report from the device control panel:
At the Home screen, touch Device, then touch Information Pages.
Touch Basic Configuration Report or Detailed Configuration Report, then touch Print.
Embedded Web Server (EWS)
To print the Configuration Report from the Embedded Web Server:
In the Embedded Web Server, click Home > Configuration Report.
To print the report, click Print Configuration Page, then click Basic Report or Detailed Report.
Disable the Configuration Report at Startup
In the Embedded Web Server, click Properties > Apps.
Click Printing > General.
For Configuration Report, clear Print at Power on.
To save the new settings, click Save.
Download the Configuration Report from the Embedded Web Server
From the Embedded Web Server, you can download and save a copy of the Configuration Report to your computer hard drive. Use Configuration Reports from multiple devices to compare software versions, configurations, and compliance information.
To download a copy of the Configuration Report from the Embedded Web Server:
At your computer, open a Web browser. In the address field, type the IP address of the printer, then press Enter or Return.
Note: For details about obtaining the IP address of your printer, click on Find the IP Address of the Device.Login as Administrator at the Embedded Web Server. For additional information, click on Access and Login or Logout as System Administrator at the Control Panel or Embedded Web Server (EWS).
To download the Configuration Report, scroll to the bottom of the page. In the Quick Links section, click Download Configuration Report.
Note: If the Download Configuration Report feature does not appear, log in as a system administrator.The document is saved automatically as an XML file in the default download location on your computer hard drive. To open the Configuration Report, use an XML viewer.
Logout as Administrator at the EWS.
