Fault Code 012-300: The Finisher Top Cover is Open Message

Try the following:

  1. Make sure the finisher top cover is closed.

    Close the finisher top cover

  2. Power the printer off, reseat all connections between the finisher and printer, then power the printer back on:

    1. Press the Power button on the Control Panel.

    2. Touch Power Off.

      Press the Power button on the Control Panel and then touch Power Off

  4. Wait for the printer to complete the power-off procedure. When complete, the touch screen is dark and the lights are off.

  5. Reseat all cable connections between the finisher and the printer.

  6. Press the Power button to power the printer back on.
