Note: Make sure genuine Xerox toner cartridges are being used.  Use of non-Xerox supplies is not recommended. Make sure to use genuine Xerox toner cartridges designed for specific use with this product. Use of other toner cartridges may affect print quality and product reliability.

Example of Light, Faint, or Faded Prints

Try the following if output is light, faint, or faded:

  1. Redistribute Toner in the Toner Cartridge.

  2. Increase the resolution setting in the print driver.  For additional information, refer to Modify the Resolution.

  3. Make sure Toner Saver mode is disabled.  For additional informaiton, refer to Enable or Disable the Toner Saver Mode in the Print Driver.

  4. Make sure the paper is within specifications.  For additional information, refer toPaper and Paper Tray Specifications.

  5. Replace the Toner Cartridge.

  6. Replace the Drum Cartridge.

  7. If the problem persists, contact Support for additional assistance.
