Fiery Services are Not Running Message or Fiery Quick Touch Screen Does Not State Idle After Startup

This is caused when the glanceagent service fails to start and generally will not affecting printing or scanning.

To resolve this issue the following steps should be followed.

  1. Click the Start button in the bottom left corner of the screen.

  2. Type Services.

  3. Select the Services desktop app.

  4. Sort the services by name and find the glanceagent.exe service.

  5. Right click the service and select Start.

  6. Close the Services screen.
    The touch screen should now show Idle, or Printing if print jobs are being submitted.

If the Fiery is rebooted and the same service does not start, ensure that all Fiery patches from EFI are applied.

If the problem persists, contact Support for additional assistance.
