The IPv4 Connectivity Error Duplicate IPv4 Address Detected message occurs when another networked device, such as a tablet, cell phone, computer or another printer has been connected to the network and assigned the same IPv4 Address as the Xerox Multifunction Device by DHCP.

  1. Disconnect the recently connected device and reboot the printer.

  2. Change the Static IP address of the printer to another unused IP address or enable DHCP.

NOTE: Make sure the IP address in the driver IP Port matches the new IP address of the printer. For details, refer to How To Configure the TCP / IP Port for the LPR Protocol on a Microsoft Windows Print Driver.

  3. If the problem persists, contact your System Administrator to resolve the network issue.
