How To Create, Print (Release) and/or Delete a Secure Job Without the Fiery Color Server

The Secure Print feature is used to send a print job to the printer and then hold the job until the user enters a passcode to print the job.
To create a Secure Print job using a Microsoft Windows OS:
Open the file to be printed, and then select [Print] from the File menu. The Print window will be displayed.
Select the required printer, and then click on the [Preferences] or [Properties] button. The Preferences or Properties window will be displayed.
Select [Secure Print] from the Job Type pull-down menu. The Secure Print window will be displayed.
Enter a passcode for the job in the Passcode field. Up to 12 digits can be entered.
Enter the passcode again in the Confirm passcode field.
Click on [OK] to close the Secure Print window.
Select any other required print settings.
Click on [OK] twice to send the job to the printer.
To create a Secure Print job using an Apple Macintosh OS:
Open the file to be printed, and then select [Print] from the File menu. The Print window will be displayed.
Select [Xerox Features] from the Copies & Pages menu.
Select [Secure Print] from Job Type menu.
Enter a 1 to 12 numerical digit passcode, and then select the [Confirm] button.
Click on [OK].
Select any other required print settings, and then click on [Print] to send the job to the printer.
To print or delete a Secure Print job at the Control Panel:
CAUTION: Once a job is deleted it cannot be restored.
Press the [Job Status] button on the Control Panel. The Job Status screen will be displayed on the Touch Screen.
Select the [Secure Print Jobs & More] tab.
Select [Secure Print].
Select the required appropriate user from the list, and then select [Job List].
Enter the passcode, and then select the [Confirm] button.
Select the required document from the list.
Select [Print] or [Delete] to print or delete the job.
