  1. Install the latest Print and ICA Scan Drivers

  2. Set up a Xerox Multifunction Printer to use with Mac OS

    • After installing the Latest Print and Scan Driver, you can add a scanner to the list of devices in Printers & Scanners preferences. This step will ensure that a Multifunction print queue will be installed for your Xerox Multifunction Printer that contains the ICA Scan interface.

  3. Select the printer in the list at the left, then click Scan.

    • Select the Apple menu.

    • Select System Preferences.

    • Select Printers & Scanners.

      Note: If you don’t see your scanner in the list at the left, select the Add button . From the pop-up menu, select Add Printer or Scanner.

    • Select your Xerox Multifunction Printer.

      Note

      • For Network connected Printers, select the printer that displays Bonjour Multifunction under the Kind column.

      • For USB connected Printers, select the printer that displays USB Multifunction under the Kind column.

    • Verify that the correct Xerox Driver is listed next to the Use pull down menu.
       
      Note: If the AirPrint or Secure AirPrint driver is auto discovered, Please select the drop down and verify that the appropriate Xerox driver is selected for your model printer.

    • Select the Add button on the bottom right corner of the window to add the print queue to the Mac.
