Replace Toner Cartridge Message After the Toner was Replaced

After replacing the toner and the message still appears.

  1. First, Reseat the new toner cartridge and if it doesn’t work try a new toner cartridge. Refer toRemove and Re-install the Toner (Dry Ink) Cartridge. 

  2. If message still appears, Power Off the machine by pressing the Secondary power switch. Refer toPower the Printer's Secondary Power Switch Off and On.

  3. Open the Front door and Remove the Toner Cartridge.

  4. Turn Off the Main power switch on the right side for 30 seconds. Refer toPower the Printer Off / On Using Both Secondary and Main Power Switches.

  5. Turn On the Main power switch.

  6. Wait 15 seconds.

  7. Press the Secondary power switch to start the Printer.

  8. Wait until it fully loads (4-5 mins)

  9. It will Prompt you with the Insert Toner Cartridge Message.

  10. Before you insert, Blow air into the toner slot to clean toner dust from the sensor.

  11. Insert the Toner Cartridge.

  12. Close the Front Door.

  13. Wait after a few moments of adjustment make a test print to make sure an error message does not reoccur.

  14. If the error reoccurs clean the terminals on the appropriate Toner Cartridge. Refer toClean the Terminals on the Toner Cartridge (K) CRUM.
