Fault Code 016-426: SMart eSolutions Connect Failure Fault

This error is caused by a security certificate not being renewed after it has expired on System Software Levels below 57.31.81. 

    1. Upgrade your printer to the latest Software General Release. For details refer to Update the Printer's Software (Firmware) or see the Related Content for a link to the Drivers and Downloads page.

Note: If the software level is 57.51.01 or higher then troubleshoot the issue using the solutions below:

  1. Power the Printer On or Off.

  2. Tips for Resolving SMART eSolutions, Automatic Meter Reads (AMR), or Remote Services Communications Issues.

  3.  If the problem persists, contact Support for additional assistance.
