Fault Code 016-426: Smart eSolutions Connection Failure

This error is caused by a security certificate not being renewed after it has expired on System Software Levels below 37.31.81. 

  1. Upgrade your printer to the latest Software General Release. For more details refer to Update the Printer Software (Firmware) or see the Related Content for a link to the Drivers and Downloads page.

Note: If the software level is 37.51.01 or higher then troubleshoot the issue using solution below:

  1. Make Sure the Network is Connected.

  2. If you are using a Wired Network Connection:

  4. Power the Printer Off and Then On Again.

  5. If the problem persists, contact Support for additional assistance.
