Set What Services to Track Using Xerox Standard Accounting (XSA)

The services to track when using Xerox Standard Accounting may be configured using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) or from the Control Panel. Select the desired method.

Set What Services to Track in Xerox Standard Accounting Using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS):

  1. Access CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) and if necessary, login as System Administrator. See the Related Content for additional information.

  2. Click on the Properties tab.

  3. Click Login/ Permissions/ Accounting.

  4. Click Accounting Methods.

  5. On the Accounting page, under Action, next to Service Tracking, click Edit.

  6. Under Presets, select an option:

    • Disable tracking for all services turns off tracking.

    • Enable tracking for all services instructs the printer to track Copies, Prints, Scans, and Faxes.

    • Enable color tracking only instructs the printer to track color Copies and Prints.

    • Custom allows you to enable tracking for specific services.
      If you select Custom, select Enabled or Color Tracking Only next to the services you want to track.

  7. Click Save.

    NOTE: Not all options listed are supported on all printers. Some options apply only to a specific printer model, configuration, operating system, or driver type.

Set What Services to Track in Xerox Standard Accounting From Control Panel:

  1. Login to System Administrator mode on the Control Panel. See the Related Content for additional information.

  2. Select Accounting Settings.

  3. Select Accounting Mode.

  4. Select Xerox Standard Accounting.

  5. Select Service Tracking.

  6. Select either Enabled or Disabled for each of the following services: Copies, Prints, Scans.

  7. Select Save.
