Modifying the Internet Explorer Browser Security Settings

  1. Open an Internet Explorer browser window.

  2. Select Tools > Internet Options > Security Settings. 

    If the Internet Explorer security level is set to High, you cannot log in to the Xerox App Gallery. You can either set the security level to Medium-High, or customize the security settings so that login is permitted to the site.

  3. To customize the security settings:

    1. Select Security > Internet > Custom Level.

    2. Scroll to the ActiveX Controls and Plugins section.

    3. Select Run ActiveX Controls and Plugins > Enable.

    4. Scroll to the Scripting section, select the Active Scripting > Enable, then click OK.

    5. Click the Security tab, then click the Trusted Sites icon.

    6. Click Sites, then add the following URL to the Trusted Sites link: https://appgallery.services.xerox.com.

Modifying the Chrome Browser Security Settings

  1. On your browser toolbar, click the Customize and control Google Chrome menu.

  2. Click Settings > Show Advanced Settings.

  3. Under the Privacy and Security section, select Content Settings

  4. Set the following Content settings for the values indicated:

    1. JavaScript > Allowed.

    2. Plug-ins > Ask when a site wants to use a plug-in to access your computer.
