Replace the Smart Kit Drum Cartridge

1. Move the Control Panel to the left, and then open the Front Door.
   
   
   
   

2. Slide the Toner lock lever to the unlocked position. Push until you hear it click into the unlocked position.

1. While holding the Drum Cartridge in place, grasp the handle for the Toner Cartridge and pull it towards you to remove the Toner Cartridge from the Drum Cartridge. Set the Toner Cartridge aside.
   
   
   
   

2. Remove the Drum Cartridge from the machine by pulling on the cartridge handle and then grasping the yellow colored handle. Recycle the used Drum Cartridge.
   
   
   
   

3. Remove new Drum Cartridge from packaging and then carefully remove the protective shield from the Drum.
   
   CAUTION: Do not leave the Drum exposed to light for more than 5 minutes.
   
   

4. Slide the new Drum Cartridge into the machine. You will hear it click into position.

5. Reinstall the Toner Cartridge into the Drum Cartridge and make sure the Toner Cartridge is installed all the way.

6. Slide the Toner Cartridge lever to the locked position.

Close the Front Door.
