Note: The installer checks if the required operating system components are enabled. If Microsoft Office is installed, the installer notifies you to remove Microsoft Office, and the installation stops.

The installation takes place in several phases, which must be performed in the following order. Click on the link in each step for details.

  1. Copy the Installation Files to Your Server.

  2. Install the Xerox Workplace Suite Software Prerequisites.

  3. Install the Xerox Workplace Suite Software.

  4. Install Job Reporting (Optional).

  5. Enter the Essential Configuration settings:

    1. Add or Update Company Profile Information

    2. Set up Company Proxy Settings

    3. Activate a License (New Install)

    4. Microsoft Office Activation Options

    5. Configure Incoming Mail

    6. Configure Outgoing Mail

    7. Set Up and Verify Your System Administrator Account

  6. Add a Printer

  7. Add a Pull Print Network Print Queue for Print Management Workflow

    Note: This feature is only available with a Print Management Workflow license.
