How To Copy an ID Card

You can copy both sides of an ID card or small document onto one side of paper. Each side is copied using the same location on the document glass. The printer stores both sides and prints them side by side on the paper.
NOTE: To quickly determine which model you are using, the B1022 printer has a 4-line LCD display screen while the B1025 printer has a touch screen. If necessary, click on the following link to learn more about the B1022 and B1025 Features/Differences.
To Copy an ID Card Using the B1022 MFP
NOTE: The images in this procedure are for demonstration purposes only and may not match your printer model, specifically; colors, icons, and other minor differences may exist.
At the printer control panel, press the Copy button.
Press the Menu button.
On the Copy Features screen, select the Layout option.
On the Layout screen, select the ID Copy option.
Press the OK button. The Saved window appears.
To select the number of copies, use the alphanumeric keys or the Up Arrow and Down Arrow buttons.
Lift the document glass cover.
Place the ID card, or a document smaller than half the selected paper supply size, in the upper left corner of the document glass.
Press the green Start button. The first side of the ID card is copied and stored. The printer prompts you to turn over the ID card, then press the Start button.
To copy the second side of the ID card, repeat the previous steps. The second side of the ID card copies, then the copy generates. 11. Lift the document cover, then remove the ID card or document.
To Copy an ID Card Using the B1025 MFP
Press the Services Home button, then scroll down and touch ID Card Copy.
To select the number of copies, use the control panel the keypad.
Touch the Right arrow.
To change ID Card copy options, touch each tab, then make the needed changes. You can change the paper supply, lighten or darken an image, or use auto suppression.
Lift the document cover.
Place the ID card, or a document smaller than half the selected paper supply size, in the upper left corner of the document glass.
Press the Start button. The printer copies and stores the first side of the ID card. You are prompted to turn over the ID card, then press the Start button.
To copy the second side of the ID card, repeat the previous steps. The printer copies the second side of the ID card.
Lift the document cover, then remove the ID card or document.
