WC3335 Only: Replace the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) Pad

NOTE: This solution is applicable only to the WorkCentre 3335.

1. Power the printer off. See the Related Content section for additional information.
   
   
   
   

2. Open the ADF cover.
   
   
   
   

3. Remove the ADF pad.

4. 1. Grasp each side of the ADF pad the pull towards the center of the machine.
      
      
      
      

   2. Pull straight up to remove the ADF pad.
      
      
      
      

   3. Set the ADF pad aside for recycling.

5. Make sure the spring it still in place.
   
   
   
   

6. Remove the new ADF pad from the packaging.
   
   
   
   

7. Install the new ADF pad.

8. 1. Grasping both sides of the new ADF pad, insert the pad into the slot.
      
      
      
      

9. Make sure the spring is located onto the pin on the back of the pad, and gently press on the top of the ADF pad until it clicks into place.
   
   
   
   
   
   

10. Close the ADF cover.
    
    
    
    

11. Power the printer on. See the Related Content section for additional information.
    
    
    
    

12. Reset the ADF pad counter.

13. 1. Login then press Machine Status.

    2. Touch Supplies.

    3. Select the item and touch Reset.

14. Recycle the used ADF pad.
