Note: The C/Z Folder requires use of a Interface Decurler Module, and use of one of the following Production Ready Finishers:

Production Ready Finisher
Production Ready Booklet Maker Finisher
Production Ready Finisher Plus

The C/Z Folder is an optional finishing device which provides C-Fold and Z-Fold output for 8.5 x 11 in./A4 output and 11 x 17 in./A3 media.

To produce folded output, select the Fold feature.

Select the Fold feature from the print driver (for network print jobs),
To use the Fold feature, ensure that the orientation of the documents is short-edge feed (SEF). You must select a tray that contains SEF media.
There are three types of folds available: C-Fold, Z-Fold, and Z-Fold Half-Sheet.

Note: For detailed information about the Fold Adjustment feature, refer to the Advanced Stock Setup in Stock Library on your print server for "Fold Adjustment Profiles."

1	Trifold Output Tray	This tray receives output sheets.
2	Trifold Output Tray Button	To open the trifold output tray, select this button.

C/Z Folder Control Panel and Output Trays:

Number	Component	Description
1	Trifold Output Tray Button	When you press the button, the indicator flashes. When the trifold output tray is unlocked, and the indicator shows a steady light on with no blinking, pull out the trifold output tray.
2	Trifold Output Tray	C-Fold or Z-Fold jobs are delivered to this tray only. Note: C/Z Fold jobs cannot be delivered to any other tray.
3	Production Ready Finisher Top Tray	This tray receives Z-Fold Half Sheet output.
4	Stack Tray	This tray receives Z-Fold Half Sheet output.
