Program Subset Stapling for the Copier / Printer at the Nuvera

For a copy job:

  1. Load originals into the Document Handler or place one at a time on the Document Glass.

  2. From the DocuSP Display Screen, click on the [Copy] button, located under the Services section on the left side of the window.

  3. Click on the [Output] tab.

  4. Click the [Stapling/Finishing] button. The options for stapling and finishing will be displayed.

  5. Click on the Finishing / Stapling field pull-down, click on the stapling option you want to use, and then click on the icon that further describes the option you want to use. For example, you may want 1 staple, in the left, portrait position on the output versus 1 staple, in the right, landscape position.

  6. Under the Subset Output Options section, click on [Finishing].

    NOTE: If you have not completed step 5 yet, you may not be able to select the Finishing option. The option will be grayed out until you complete step 5.

  7. Enter the number of pages you want finished in the Pages Per Subset field. Valid values are from 2 to 100.

  8. Continue programming your job as you require.

  9. Click [Start] to begin scanning.

For a saved job on the copier / printer:

  1. From the DocuSP Display Screen, click on the [Job] button, located under the Managers section on the left side of the window.

  2. Click on the [Saved Jobs] tab.

  3. Click on the Directory section pull-down, then click on the save jobs directory for your system.

  4. Click on the folder that contains the saved job.

    NOTE: In some cases, additional save directories are created to save specific jobs by user, by department, or by another categorization. Contact your System Administrator for assistance.

  5. Double-click on the job in the Job File. The Job Properties window will be displayed.

  6. Click on the [Output] tab.

  7. Click the [Stapling/Finishing] button. The options for stapling and finishing will be displayed.

  8. Click on the Finishing / Stapling field pull-down, click on the stapling option you want to use, and then click on the icon that further describes the option you want to use. For example, you may want 1 staple, in the left portrait position on the output versus 1 staple, in the right landscape position.

  9. Under the Subset Output Options section, click on [Finishing].

    NOTE: If you have not completed step 8 yet, you may not be able to select the Finishing option. The option will be grayed out until you complete step 8.

  10. Enter the number of pages you want finished in the Pages Per Subset field. Valid values are from 2 to 100.

  11. Click [Print] to schedule your job for printing.

  12. Click [Close] to close the Job Properties window.
