To determine if the issue is Print Job or Device Related print Quality Test Pages.
If the test print prints correctly, make sure the correct Driver is installed. See Related Content for the Drivers and Downloads page.
If the test print has defects, continue with step 2.
Perform Color Adjust,and try the job again.
Increase Toner Darknessand try the job again.
Turn Off Color Saver From the Control Panel,and try the job again.
Make sure that the Paper Setting matches the paper loaded,and try the job again.
Check if paper has texture or rough finishes. If so, replace it with plain paper and try the job again.
Load paper from a fresh package, and try the job again.
Note: Paper absorbs moisture due to high humidity. Store paper in its original wrapper until you are ready to use it.Open the front door, and then firmly push it down.
Pull out the print cartridge tray, then remove and re-insert the print cartridges. For details, refer toReplace a Print CartridgeInsert the print cartridge tray, close the door and try the job again.
Caution: Exposure to direct sunlight or strong indoor fluorescent lighting for more than two minutes may cause damage to the Imaging Unit causing print quality problems. Cover the surface of the Imaging Unit if the unit will be exposed to light for longer periods exceeding two minutes.If the problem persists, contact Support for additional assistance.
