Pausing and Resuming the Printer:

To stop the printer from processing pause the printer. Consider pausing the printer instead of holding jobs when an adjustment is needed, such as changing the toner. When a job is held it needs to process again before is can be printed. This is not the case when pausing the printer.

  1. Select the [Pause] button located in the upper right corner of the FFPS window. The Resume / Cancel Job window will be displayed.

  2. Select [Resume Printer], [Resume Scanner], or [Resume All] to continue job processing.

Pausing and Resuming Processing:

  1. To pause the print process select [System], and then [Pause Processing] or press the [Ctrl], [Shift] and [P] keys on the keyboard, at the same time.

NOTE: Pause processing is typically used for very large jobs.

  2. To resume the print process select [System], and then [Resume Processing] or press the [Ctrl], [Shift] and [R] keys on the keyboard, at the same time. When Resume Processing is selected the print process resumes where it left off. Any adjustments that have been made to the job or the queue are only applied to the portion of the job that has not yet been processed.
