Schedule an Image Overwrite at the Control Panel for the C60/C70

The Image Overwrite Security feature Provides security conscious customers with the ability to overwrite the printer’s hard disk (at a scheduled time) to protect classified or private information.
CAUTION: Data erased during the overwrite process cannot be retrieved.
Press the [Log In / Out] button on the left side of the Control Panel. The System Administrator Login screen will be displayed.
Enter the System Administrator Login ID using the numeric keypad on the Control Panel, and then select the Confim button on the Touch Screen.
Note: The System Administrator ID is admin (lower case). Depending on when the device was manufactured or the software version installed, the default administrator password may be the device serial number or 1111.Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel. The Machine Status screen will be displayed.
Select the [Tools] tab on the Touch Screen.
Select the [Authentication/Securtiy Settings] button.
Select [Overwrite Hard Disk].
Select [Number of Overwrites].
Select either [1 Overwrite] or [3 Overwrites].
Select the [Save] button.
Select [Scheduled Image Overwrite].
Select [Daily], [Weekly], [Monthly] and set the required date and time of the overwrite.
Select the [Save] button to save the settings.
Select the [Close] button, and then select the [Exit] button to exit.
