Power Off the Server and Printer, Reseat the Scan (Crossover) and Data (Printer Interface) Cables, Then Power On

Power off the server according to the type of server you have installed. See the Related Content for additional information.
Press the power switch on the printer to the off position (O).
Locate the Scan (Crossover) and Data (Printer Interface) cables on the back of the printer.
The Scan cable is a standard Ethernet cable. One end of the cable connects to the Scan port, located on the back of the printer under the Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (DADF), and the other end connects to the Scan port of the attached Color Server.Perform the following:
Disconnect and then firmly reconnect the Scan cable on the back of the printer.
Disconnect and then firmly reconnect the Scan cable to the attached server.
Disconnect and then firmly reconnect the Data cable to the printer.
Disconnect and then firmly reconnect the Data cable to the attached server.
Power on the printer. Wait until the printer fully boots up.
Power on the server.
