The steps below can be used if you are using the "Direct Connect" configuration. This can be determined by checking to see if the EFI Fiery Server has a crossover cable connected directly from the scan port on the server to the printer.

CAUTION: If there is a network switch in between the Fiery server and the printer, the steps can be different. The printer may have its own IP address and the Fiery server may also have its own IP address.

If you cannot access the CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) web page but are able to access the Fiery web page, then check that the printer's IP address has not changed from the default IP address.

To check or change the IP address for the printer to the default address when connected to an Integrated Fiery Print Server:

  1. Press the [Log In / Out] button on the Control Panel. The Login screen will be displayed.

  2. Enter the System Administrator user ID using the numeric keypad on the Control Panel or the keyboard on the Touch Screen, and then select the [Next] button.

  3. Enter the password in the field provided, and then press the [Enter] button.

Note: The default administrator user name is admin. Depending on when the device was manufactured or the software version installed, the default administrator password may be the device serial number or 1111. The user name and password are case sensitive.

  4. Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel.

  5. Select the [Tools] tab on the Touch Screen.

  6. Select the [System Settings] button.

  7. Select the [Connectivity & Network Setup] option.

  8. Select the [Protocol Settings] button.

  9. Select [TCP/IP - Network Settings] and select [Change Settings].

  10. Select [3. IPv4 - IP Address Resolution] and make sure Static is selected.  If not, select [Change Settings], select [Static], then select [Save].

  11. Select [4. IPv4 - IP Address] and select [Change Settings]. Enter 100.100.100.101 and then select [Save].

  12. Select [5. IPv4 - Subnet Mask] and select [Change Settings]. Enter 255.255.255.252 and then select [Save].

  13. Select [6. IPv4 - Gateway Address] and select [Change Settings]. Enter 100.100.100.102 and then select [Save].

  14. Select [Close].

  15. Press the [Log In / Out] button on the Control Panel, and then select the [Logout] button on the Touch Screen. The machine will reboot and come back online. You should now be able to access the CentreWare Internet Services web page.
