Restart the Press Interface (PI)

  1. From the PI, in the Press Status window, click on [System] from the toolbar, then click [Restart]. A text box will be displayed with a 'Stopped' message. The Press Interface application will restart and the iGen5 copyright will be displayed, followed by the Login window.

    NOTE: If a question is displayed prompting you to allow current jobs to complete printing, click on [No]. If the PI does not restart after two minutes click on [Exit], which is located on the Common Desktop Environment (CDE) at the bottom of the window. This has the same affect as a Restart.

  2. Enter a valid User Name and Password in the fields provided, then click [Logon]. The Press Interface shortcut bar and Press Status window will be displayed.

    CAUTION: Do not select any menu items on the Press Interface until after the Resume Printing button changes to green. Failure to wait can cause the software to lock-up, requiring another restart.

  3. When the Press is ready click on [Resume Printing] on the Press Interface. The Press is ready when all modules are connected and arranged in the correct order on the machine icon on the Display Screen.
