The CMT performs Print Engine and System Color checks that make sure the printer is within color specification.

When preparing to use the CMT, make sure to load the paper tray with the recommended Standard White Stock. See the table below for information on what stock to use when running CMT in either Automatic Mode or Expert Mode.

For optimal color stability when performing daily color maintenance, consistently use the same Standard White Stock profile. For example, if initially the profile was created using 305 mm x 457 mm (12 x 18 in) Regular paper, continue to run all future color maintenance using this paper.

NOTE: The CMT operations have been optimized for the recommended stock. Lower image quality scores may occur if running CMT with stocks having different finishes, brightness and other properties or impurities. The System and Engine checks should still pass and result in good color quality.
