Toner Running Out Too Quickly

Note: Starter cartridges run until empty and have a reduced capacity. For more information see Consumable Yields

1. Ensure Genuine Xerox Supplies are being used with the machine.

2. Ensure device is upgraded to the latest Firmware level for optimal product performance and reliability.

3. Print a Device Statistics Report to verify the current page count for the toner cartridge. Refer to Consumable Yields for more information.

4. Select Draft Mode from the print driver to reduce the amount of toner used per page.

5. Check for excess toner or debris around the toner cartridge. Check the cartridge for physical damage and replace if necessary.

6. Ensure the correct driver is being used.
