How To Set the Date and Time or Specify an NTP Server

Configuring the Date and Time via the Control Panel:

  1. From the printer’s control panel, press Settings.

  2. Press Device.

  3. Press Preferences.

  4. Press Date and Time.

    Select between Configure or Network Time Protocol. The Configure menu path has Manually Set Date and Time, Date Format, Time Format, and Time Zone. The Network Time Protocol menu path will show NTP Server options.

  5. Press the Home button. The setting takes effect immediately.

Configuring the Date and Time via the Embedded Web Server:

Note: If you are having difficulties seeing the menu option, you may have to Log in as a System Administrator to see hidden menu options.

  1. From a computer (on the same network as the printer) open a Web browser.

  2. In the Web browser address field, enter the IP address of the printer and then press Enter or Return. The printer home page will be displayed.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Click Device.

  5. Click the blue hyperlink for Date and Time.

    Options available are Manually Set Date and Time, Date Format, Time Format, and Time Zone. Additional options include NTP Server information.

  6. Press Save.
