Power the Printer's Secondary Power Switch Off and On

NOTE: A video is available at the end of this solution.

NOTE: During the initial printer setup and if the Display Language (English-United States) is changed, the Touch Screen may lock up. To unlock the Touch Screen and return to the printer initial setup screen prompts, power the printer off using the secondary power switch. It may be necessary to repeat this process to complete the printer setup.

This printer has two power switches. The main power switch located behind the Front Door controls the main power to the printer. The secondary power switch on the top of the printer controls power to the printer electronic components, and initiates a software-controlled shutdown when turned off.

To power the printer off and on:

1. Press the secondary power switch to the off position.
   
   
   
   

2. Wait until the Touch Screen goes dark / blank, and then press the secondary power switch to the on position.

3. Return to printer initial setup screen prompts.
