NOTE: The EFI Fiery Server is an optional, external Network Controller for the printer, in addition to the standard internal Network Controller. The Fiery Server is usually attached to the back of the printer. Locations can vary depending on your printer setup.

The Fiery Server can be configured either with a Single IP or Dual IP.

There are several ways to determine if your printer has an external Fiery Server:

  • Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel and check the IP address. If the IP address is set “100.100.100.101” then the printer is configured with an external Fiery Server.

  • Additionally, a Printer Setup button will be available on the All Services screen on the printer's Control Panel. Press the [All Services] button on the Touch Screen and look for the Printer Setup button.

  • Check the printer and try to locate the Fiery Server, which could be installed next to or behind the printer.
