If Running Java Version 8, Install a Patch File and (if necessary) Add Exceptions to Java

  1. Locate and record the printer's current system software version. This information is required to ensure the correct patch file is downloaded and installed on the printer.

NOTE: The system software version can be found on the Configuration Report. See the Related Content for information on how to print a Configuration Report.

  2. Click on the appropriate patch link in the Related Content section depending on the printer's current system software version. Review the Printer Software Version Required column in the table below to determine which file to download.

IMPORTANT: An uninstall file is also provided for each software version should you be required to uninstall the patch. Follow the same instructions below to uninstall the patch except select the required uninstall file (xxxxxxxx_un.dlm) in step 10.

    • Download the 071_Remote_Control_Panel.zip file if the software version is 071.xxx.xxx.xxxxx.
