Missing Information When Printing Large Complex Documents from AutoCAD, Google Earth, Maps etc

Large complex documents such as maps, plots, building designs, CAD images have too much detail for the Postcript driver to handle properly. When using the Poascript driver you will get incorrect colors, washed out sections and sometimes completely blank spots of the image.

Use the PCL6 or PCL driver and ensure that you enable the Enhanced Printing Features in the drivers Printing Preferences.

1. Access Devices and Printers within Microsoft Windows.
   
   NOTE: This may vary depending on your version of Windows.
   
   

2. Right Click the PCL or PCL6 Driver and Select Printing Preferences.

3. Select the Advanced tab.

4. Expand  Driver.

5. Enable Enhanced Printing Features.

6. Select Apply.

7. Select OK.
