Modify the IP Address of the WorkCentre

NOTE: A System Administrator may be required to provide the information listed below, or to perform the steps in this solution. The following information will be required for this procedure:
An existing operational network utilizing the TCP/IP protocol
The IP address designated for the printer
A Subnet Mask address
A Gateway address
A Host Name (optional)
From the WorkCentre:
Press the [Log In / Out] button on the Control Panel. The Log In window will be displayed. See the Related Content for additional information.
Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel. The Machine Status screen will be displayed.
Select the [Tools] tab on the Touch Screen.
Select the [Network Settings] button.
Select the [TCP/IP Settings] button.
Select the [Dynamic Addressing] button.
Select the [Disabled] button.
Select the [Save] button.
Select the [IP Address] option.
Select the [IPv4 Address] option.
Select the [Clear Text] button. The IP address will be deleted.
Enter the static IP address using the keypad on the Touch Screen or Control Panel, and then select the [Save] button.
Select the [Close] button.
Select the [DNS Configuration] button.
Select the [Host Name] button.
Select the [Clear Text] button. The Host Name will be deleted.
Enter the host name, and then select the [Save] button.
Select the [Close] button twice.
Select the [Subnet & Gateway] button.
Select the [IP Gateway] button.
Enter the Gateway address, and then select the [Save] button.
Select the [Subnet Mask] button.
Enter the Subnet Mask, and then select the [Save] button.
Select the [Close] button twice.
Press the [Log In / Out] button on the Control Panel. The Logout screen will be displayed.
Select the [Logout] button on the Touch Screen to exit.
