  1. Locate the xerox.properties file under C:\Program Files (x86)\Nuance\Tomcat 8.0\webapps\ShareScan\WEB-INF\classes from the sharescan application pc.

  2. The following two sections would then be modified to uncomment them (take out the #) and set their values such as in the example.

# if this parameter is true the content on the edges of the scanned paper will be erased

xerox.erase_edge = true

# the following parameters specify the width of the erased section for each side all values are in mm

xerox.top = 5

xerox.bottom = 5

xerox.left = 3

xerox.right = 3
