Remove the Staple Cartridge and Insert a new Staple Cartridge in the Basic Office Finisher

NOTE: Make sure that the new Staple Cartridge has the correct part number. Staple cartridges designed for other machines must not be used.

  1. Open the Front Door on the Finisher.

  3. Rotate the green wheel to the left to move the cartridge holder to the front.

  5. Squeeze the green catch to unlatch the used Staple Cartridge.

  7. Remove the used Staple Cartridge from the cartridge holder.

  8. Dispose of the used Staple Cartridge.

  9. Remove the new Staple Cartridge from its packaging.

  10. Pull the orange tab to break the seal and pull the sealing tape out of the cartridge.

  11. Make sure that the staple strips on top of the stack are complete and flat. Remove any partial strips and any strips that are bent.

  13. Make sure that the black staple guide is fully closed. Press down on the green tab if necessary.

  15. Insert the new Staple Cartridge into the cartridge holder, and push the Staple Cartridge in firmly until it clicks into position.

  16. Close the Front Door on the Finisher.
