Professional Finisher: Remove the Booklet Maker Staple Cartridges and Insert new Staple Cartridges

There are two identical staple heads in the Booklet Maker stapler. Each staple head contains a maximum of 2000 staples.

NOTE: Make sure that the new Staple Cartridges have the correct part number. Staple cartridges designed for other machines must not be used.

  1. Open the Front Door on the Finisher.

  3. Pull out the booklet maker unit.

  5. Lower the lever to gain access to the Staple Cartridges.

  7. Grip the first Staple Cartridge and pull it out of the staple head.

  9. Dispose of the Staple Cartridge according to the instructions contained in the new Staple Cartridge box.

  10. Unpack the new Staple Cartridge.

  11. Insert the new Staple Cartridge into the staple head, and push the Staple Cartridge in firmly until it clicks into position.

  12. Repeat the procedure for the other Booklet Maker stapler.

  13. Raise the lever.

  14. Push the booklet maker unit back into the Finisher.

  15. Close the Front Door on the Finisher.

NOTE: After replacing the staple cartridges, up to ten booklets may be printed without staples until the stapler is fully primed. This is normal. To save paper, make ten simple blank two-sheet stapled booklets.
