Use Originals in Good Condition

Note: For best results when scanning, use only Originals that are in good condition

• Remove staples and paper clips

• Lay originals flat in scanner 

• Smooth out any staple holes, bent corners, folds, curls or any other defects

• Clean off any dirt or debris that may be on the original document

• Do not use originals that have perforated or frayed edges

• If necessary, create a new original to be scanned if possible
